Nicolas Aguirre (2024, Redondo Beach, Calif.) showed off a dynamic offensive skill set throughout an impressive weekend at the plate. A simple, linear swing found the barrel consistently. The barrel gets on plane early and stays in the zone well. A quality approach stays through the middle of the field, allowing balls to be driven well into both gaps. There is some sneaky power present that combines with advanced speed to produce frequent extra-base hits. The speed and pure hit tool made Aguirre stand out all weekend.
