Jason Harris (2026, Elk Grove, Calif.) took the hill in the quarterfinals round and did not disappoint. The right-hander surrendered just two hits over five innings of work on the way to a dominant win. Harris showed the ability to miss bats often when in the zone. The fastball got up to 82 mph with some life through the zone. It showed the ability to generate whiffs at the top of the zone. The heater was paired with a short, tiling slider at 69-71 mph. Confidence in the offering allowed it to be thrown early and often. Hitters struggled to stay back and do any damage with the pitch. Strike throwing is the key to Harris’ success, but when he is in the zone the right-hander can dominate.
