Mason Brassfield (2024, Bakersfield, Calif.) was super efficient during his relief outing, holding 87-89 mph and working through the lineup quickly. Brassfield, a TCU commit, has a super projectable frame and build to go along with a very loose and fast arm from the left side. Brassfield didn’t waste time as he used mostly the fastball and struck out three hitters over three hitless innings on just 30 pitches. The performance was a dominant one from the top 50 prospect in the class and Brassfield is obviously a prospect that will be monitored closely this week.
