Griffin Boesen (2027, Des Moines, Iowa) had a really solid weekend for Iowa Select 2025 Hicks. Boesen, who played up two age groups, held his own on the weekend going 6-for-7 with five RBI and three walks. Boesen has a smooth left-handed stroke in the box with some polish in his finish. Everything he hit was in the gaps or middle of the field, which is really impressive considering he will only be an eighth grader this year. The frame is young at 5-foot-11, 140 pounds with long levers and obvious time to fill out his build. This is an interesting 2027 prospect here in Iowa who will be attending the 13u National Showcase next week down in Florida. Big upside here.
