West WWBA Scout Notes: Day 1 | Day 2

Christopher DiPrima (2023, San Diego, Calif.) was mentioned in the Day 1 notes for his performance on the mound, but it was DiPrima’s ability at the plate that stood out on Day 3. The right-handed hitter used a short, compact swing to balls to all fields. Quick bat speed allows the bat head to get out front. It combines with quality strength within a lean build to generate a fair amount of power to the pull side. Once on the bases, quick speed allows for extra bases to be taken whenever possible. DiPrima also displayed the two-way ability again, coming in to close things out on the mound using fastballs that sat around 90 mph. It is an extremely intriguing uncommitted profile that will be able to help a school at the next level.
