Luke Schaning (2026, West Allis, Wis.) had an outstanding weekend for Midwest Halos 15u. He had four base hits on the weekend with three walks drawn and three stolen bases. Schaning showed above average speed in both the outfield and on the bases, running down numerous balls in the gap for outstanding catches. Standing at 6-foot-1, 180 pounds, there is room for the frame to fill out and with that will come more power and speed to his game. Really like the upside in this young prospect.
