PG Coastal Invite Scout Notes: Day 1-2

Teagan Jordan (2026, Norwood, N.C.) was on the mound in the starting role in a shortened pitch count for the Concord Athletics. A well-built 5-foot-10, 180-pound LHP rolled through the first inning on just 12 pitches, all of them fastballs. Working from the stretch only, he employed a simple inline delivery and filled up the zone throwing 68% strikes. He breaks his hands at the belt and works through a compact arm path to a three-quarter arm angle. While he didn’t really need it, he showed a two-plane breaker in the low-60s. It needs a bit of refinement but showed promising spin and profiles as a solid secondary pitch long term. Jordan went 1 2/3 innings, allowing  two hits, one free pass and struck out three batters. There is a lot to look forward to with this young arm.
