Termarr Johnson Chooses Arizona State

ATLANTA, Ga. - Termarr Johnson, the No. 1 overall player in the 2022 class, made his college commitment live on PerfectGame.TV today, sharing with the world that he has chosen Arizona State and Head Coach Willie Bloomquist.

Long a fixture at high-level Perfect Game events, Johnson has been ranked among the best in his graduating class since rankings became available for the 2022 group. The 14u Perfect Game Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year, Johnson was ranked No. 5 overall in the 2022 class in the initial class rankings back in September of 2018 and has only seen his ranking improve since then. Johnson officially made the jump to No. 1 overall last November thanks to his showing over the summer and fall, which included an electric batting practice showing at PG National, a home run derby championship belt at the Perfect Game All-American Classic, and a .600 batting average in Jupiter.
