PG Has New Service for Bringing Players, Teams Together

Perfect Game Staff
Perfect Game USA has devised a new system of bringing individual players and travel teams together for our tournaments. We’re confident it will be good for the players, good for the teams and good for our tournaments as well.

Let’s say you’re an individual player who’d like to play in one of our WWBA or BCS tournaments, but you don’t belong to a travel team and don’t have any way of getting into the tournament. Now you do.

And let’s say you’re the coach of a travel team that plans to enter one of our tournaments, but you need a few more players to round out your roster and don’t know where to look. Now you do.

We’ll be like a bridge: A player needs a team, a team needs a player, and we help bring them together.

You’ll find links to our new service on our web sites, either at
www.PerfectGame.org or www.WorldWoodBat.com. Just click on the link on the home page that says “Player/Team Bulletin Board” and get started.

If you’re a player looking for a team, click on the Player Entry Form and supply the appropriate information with your name, city, state, high school, graduation year, e-mail address, date of birth, some basic baseball information and tournaments you’d like to attend.

If you’re the coach of a team that’s looking for a player, click on the Bulletin Board for Coaches and find what you need. Select the event you plan to enter and you’ll be able to view the list of available players and how to contact them.

The staff at Perfect Game USA will check each player’s application before his name is displayed for the coaches, to ensure the integrity of the system.
