Seth Lumpkin (2023, Bahama, N.C.) is an uncommitted right-handed hitter who plays for the Rawlings Prospects NC 2023 and was seeing the ball very well at the plate in the opening game of the tournament. He has a short, compact swing with great bat-to-ball skills as he works the ball to all sides of the field. In the top of the third inning with one on and two outs, Lumpkin crushed a ball to the fence for an easy triple, scoring one. He finished the game going 4-for-4 with three RBI.

Zach Danielczyk (2023, Oakton, Va.) took the ball in the start of the tournament for the Virginia Elite National 17u and was in command from the start. He has a smooth and easy arm action with late life on the fastball as he keeps it down in the zone while topping 85 mph. He was also mixing in great off-speed pitches all game. Danielczyk had a strong outing, going six innings, only allowing two hits, and struck out eight.
