Jude Abbadessa (2022, Endicott, N.Y.) delivered four strong innings in his start for East Coast Lumberjacks’ 2022s on Sunday. Abbadessa used a great fastball/slider combination that had plenty of success. The UConn commit showed exceptional command of the two pitches and located the fastball very well. He pairs that with his high-tilt slider that has excellent sweep to it. The right-handed pitcher works from a high arm angle and can create some run on his fastball that is firm for the most part. Abbadessa would not surrender a walk or a hit and ended up punching out six opposing hitters in the complete-game run-rule victory.
