13U runner-up Team Francisco Notorious 9 Select had a gem of an infielder in the form of Thomas Martelli (2025, Woodbury, N.Y.). Martelli hit for an average of .429 over the weekend with a smooth, effortless stroke and the ability to use the entire field. He created solid separation with the hands and displayed an elevated swing path that generated backspin with carry. The young frame of Martelli has some strength on it, but has tons of time to continue to fill out and further add to the pop he already possesses.
