Day 3





Nikolas Haas (2024, Oakland, Calif.) came in with two outs in the first and Alpha Prime down 4-0 proceeding to finish the next 6 1/3 scoreless innings giving up four hits and striking out eight. Haas was on a mission, pitching with a charging tempo going right at hitters and utilizing the full arsenal. The fastball (83-85, T86 MPH) was driven to the down-and-away spot setting up his bottoming changeup (71-72 MPH) and late bending slurve (69-74 MPH). The feel for the curveball and change allowed him to throw fastballs in ahead counts to finish hitters. Haas was also on base twice taking a hit-by-pitch and doubling on a fastball from a plus count.
