Wade Mountz (2024, Morgan Hill, Calif.) features a tall, projectable frame. His low three-quarter arm slot creates deception within the delivery. The fastball sat 78-81 mph with quality arm-side run. He locates it well to the glove side and also has the ability to get in on the hands of right-handed hitters. He pairs it with a slurve ranging from 67-70 mph. It is well spun with sharp, downward break. Both offerings generate frequent whiffs.
