Mekai Griffin (2024, Lady Lake, Fla.) had prowess in both the box and the mound this weekend, collecting four hits and reaching 87 mph pitching. The three-hole for his team had an astounding 11 RBI with two doubles and a triple. Pitching at 6-foot-1, 170 pounds, he has lanky limbs and a clean delivery. The slider was devastating with some sharp break on it for his strikeout pitch.

Yahil Melendez (2023, Guanica, P.R.) tied for the most hits in the tournament with seven, as he showed a great mix of power and average. Out of the seven hits, three of them were doubles and two homers, collecting five RBI. He showed speed on the bases, racking up three stolen bases and added a good eye, only striking out once.
