Will Van Wie (2025, Houston, Texas) had solid command/control on the mound. Loose easy arm action with a projectable frame, seems like a prime candidate for a velocity bump once he fills out. He ran his fastball up to 76 and it had sink to it. Generates a lot of ground balls and lives in the bottom half of the zone. The right-hander also showed some feel for his breaking ball and could locate it for a strike. Had the ability to mix well, too. The arm works well in the outfield as well and he keeps them low and online.
