Another week brings shakeup near the top as a number of teams move up a spot or two inside the Top 15. Buford (Ga.), IMG Academy (Fla.) and Calvary Christian Academy (Fla.) hold strong at the 1-3 spots, while JSerra Catholic (Calif.) falling out of the four spot allows Tampa Jesuit (Fla.) to move up a spot and Thousand Oaks (Calif.) jumps up to the five spot behind a very hot start to the season hitting the long ball. No. 6 Hamilton (Ariz.) has a few wins under their belt now as they hold steady, while Barbe (La.) moves up a spot after a big win last week, Lake Travis (Texas) follows suit after they keep improving on their record in Texas and Orchard Lake St. Mary’s (Mich.) moves back up a spot as they began play this past weekend. New to the Top-10 is Stoneman Douglas (Fla.), who has been reeling off impressive wins throughout the spring.

Not a ton of changes in the 11-20 range as Baylor (Tenn.) moves up a couple spots after some solid wins in the early going, with Jackson Prep (Miss.) and Madison Central (Miss.) still very much showing as the two best teams in the state of Mississippi and both continue to climb in the rankings as a result. Moving up into the top half of the rankings this week is Auburn (Ala.), Rockwall-Heath (Texas) and Carrolton (Ga.), who all went 3-0 last week and look like some of the top teams in their respective talented states. Plenty of big jumps for teams this week and so is the case with Tompkins (Texas) as they already have 20 wins on the season, while Hewitt-Trussville (Ala.) and Oxford (Ala.) each moved up a few spots, with the former set for a big matchup this week against a surging Auburn team.

We’ve got four newcomers to the rankings this week, as well as one team returning to the rankings after seemingly righting the ship in Westminster Christian (Fla.). Combine Academy, who won the Academies division of the High School Showdown, joins the rankings at No. 36 after putting together some wins against schools in the Coastal region, while Friendswood (Texas) debuts at No. 41 as they’re perfect through their first 16 games. A pair of California schools debut at No. 38 and No. 48 respectively as Notre Dame (Calif.) and Harvard-Westlake (Calif.) both have some impressive wins in the early spring, with Notre Dame racking up wins already against two teams currently in our Top 20, as well as a win against a team formerly ranked inside our Top 50.

PHILADELPHIA – When the folks at Perfect Game reached out to invite him to pitch in the 2026 PG All-Star Game for rising sophomores and juniors, Cullen Scott had one request. “You mind if I get a couple of at-bats, too?” Along with his dad, Scott traveled from the family’s home in Texas to Citizens Bank Park. The trip proved to be a huge success as he starred on the mound and at the plate and was named the game’s Most Valuable Player. Scott, 16, pitched a scoreless first inning and struck out two. SBA Takes 14u Title Behind Offense

To say there were standouts all over the field for the 14u WWBA World Championship would be an understatement as the matchup of Team Elite 14u Scout and SBA Bolts National 14u saw two of the more loaded rosters going head-to-head with a title on the line. And after weather threw a giant wrench into pool play, both Sunday and Monday were nothing but sunshine and high intensity baseball leading into the final game of the event. While the game ultimately ended via run rule after five in favor of SBA upon a 9 run inning, it was a tight contest up until that point with Team Elite carrying a 3-2 lead thru four innings. PG Softball Chesterfield Fall Showcase HS Division Oct 17-18, 2026 Chesterfield First Community Athletic Complex CHESTERFIELD, MO — It was a perfect weekend for softball, with 16 teams converging on the Chesterfield First Community Athletic Complex to compete in the High School Division. Teams from Illinois, Minnesota, and Iowa were there to battle it out, and there was only one undefeated team in the tournament: the Southeast Iowa All-Stars 16U Gold Flowerbach, who went a stellar 5-0 on the weekend. We were treated to some stellar performances all weekend and below we highlight some of the standout athletes who caught our eyes. Wildcatters Reign Supreme at 13u WWBA

After both the Best of the West and the Beast of the East wrapped up, a big conglomerate of high end talent and stacked teams descended upon West Palm for both the 13u and the 14u WWBA World Championships. While the weather threw a wrench into the plans early on and some adjustment was needed to ensure the event moved forward, it was nothing but sunshine and competitive baseball throughout Sunday and into the early morning Monday. Kicking off with the 13u WWBA World Championship, the first thing to point out is the fact this was a wood bat tournament played on 60-90 fields and while the combo was a first for most, you wouldn't know it with their level of play throughout the weekend. Dalton Fisher (2028, China Grove, NC) stands at 6-foot-2, 180 pounds, with a lean, projectable frame and room to add strength as he develops. Bats and throws right-handed and plays the outfield. 2026 PG softball Chesterfield fall showcase 14U Division October 17th to 18th Chesterfield First Community Athletic Complex CHESTERFIELD, MO — It was a highly competitive weekend of softball as six teams battled it out on the field. In the end, the Midland Magic Wooster finished with a flawless 5-0 record, showcasing a dominant tournament performance by allowing only three runs while exploding for 65 runs of their own. Below we highlight some of the weekend’s shining stars. \ Abigail Doolittle (2030 - Edwardsville, Illinois) of Top Gun 2030-IL established herself as one of the tournament's most formidable hitters over five games, posting an astounding .727 batting average.
