Deion Cole (2026, Acworth, Ga.) had a stellar offseason as he had a great showing down in Florida at the 13u Main Event while standing out in a big way. He continued that trend this weekend as he showcased himself as a legit shortstop who can swing it with authority. Plenty of fast-twitch type muscle showing already as he proved to have range in the middle infield with a strong arm to compliment the athleticism. His performance in the box this weekend was also impressive. He ended up hitting just under .500 on the weekend with three extra-base hits and eight RBI. Utilizes a strong set of hands as he impacts out front with authority. Look for Cole to continue to tear up the spring/summer circuit with Smartense Select 13u as he is a quick frontrunner for one of the top prospects in the ’26 class.
