Korbin Reynolds (2025, Fort Benning, Ga.) had shown a number of positives offensively coming into the playoff round, but found all three of his hits on the weekend thus far in the first round as he went a perfect 3-for-3, finding the barrel well on line drives through the infield in each. The smaller, athletic catcher creates great bat speed with a loose and fluid stroke that has the barrel head out consistently, while sometimes getting out on his front foot against slower pitching. Behind the dish, he is solid fundamentally in receiving and is quick out of his crouch with a quick release that allows him to patrol runners on the bases well. Overall, the profile works for high contact now, but it should greatly improve on both sides of the ball as he adds strength over the years to come.
