WWBA Freshmen WC Scout Notes: Day 1 | Day 2

McCall Biemiller (2024, Tampa, Fla.) was once again excellent for Top Tier Prospects American in the first game of the day at Cypress Lake High School. The low arm slot left-hander has such tremendous upside with the arm speed, angle and size that he has at his disposal. Biemiller lives mostly in the upper-70s with his fastball but the pitch did top out at 81 mph in this look and the amount of sink he is able to create makes the pitch play up. The Tampa native pitches from a low three-quarters arm slot with lots of natural sinking life and a changeup that has similar life to it as well. He never went to a breaking ball as he did not even need to in his two innings as he kept hitters off balance consistently with the fastball/changeup combination. The left-hander for Top Tier stands at a believable 6-foot-1, 160 pounds with a crossfire delivery that adds to the deception of his pitches. Overall, the velocity is going to come in due time for Biemiller and the final product has a chance to be really special.
