WWBA Sophomore Scout Notes: Day 1 | Day 2 | Day 3

The Dirtbags Signature lineup loaded with high-end bats. TayShaun Walton (2023 Emporia, VA) and Marcus Bradshaw (2023 Prince George, VA) impressed during the the early stages of bracket play. Walton is a daunting 6-foot-3, 215 pounds with a chiseled frame with explosive athleticism. The right-handed hitter smoked two balls to the opposite field for hits, one of them being a long triple. Walton is a University of Miami commit and seems to make strides with his approach at each stop on the showcase tour. He already shows big juice in the bat, is an above average runner, and the recognition skills are catching up quickly. There are not many prospects in the class that can match his physical capabilities. Bradshaw is a wiry and rangy infielder with slender hips that give him natural fluidity and help with good lateral quickness. He made multiple movement plays to both sides, proving he can throw accurately on the run and from different arm angles. He also has a whippy bat that produces hard line drive contact. Bradshaw is a smooth strider and looks like he will actually gain speed as he adds strength to his frame.
