Jared Jones (2022, Marietta, Ga.) is one of the more physical players in the entire 2022 class and the bat plays at a very high level for him. He creates some of the hardest exit velocities the PG Scouting staff has seen in his class. He has a really impressive ability to let the baseball travel and impact it hard and on a line to the opposite field just as much if not more than to the pull side. On a pair of instances in particular, Jones went to the opposite field for a very hard line out sacrifice fly following up a single to right field in the same contest. The next day Jones lined another single, this time down the left field line leaving his barrel just as hard. The East Cobb Yankees cleanup man had a very loud tournament, like his teammates William Mosley and James Tibbs III.
