Right hander Lucas Hartman (2021, Bradenton, Fla.) threw a masterful four-hit complete game shutout, needing only 93 pitches, Monday afternoon to lead the Florida Rebels to a 6-0 win over the host Premier Baseball.  A Western Carolina commit, Hartman wasn’t overpowering, working mostly in the 84-87 mph range with his fastball but using five different pitches, including a two and four-seam fastball, a fading change up and both a slider and curveball to keep hitters off balance.  He only struck out three hitters in his seven innings of work but only walked a pair and consistently stayed off barrels the entire game.
