Texas Tech commit, Logan Whitfield (2021, Whitehouse, TX) pitched admirably into the 7th inning for his Texas Prime-DN squad in morning action against EPA Baseball 2021. The 6-2, 203 pound lefthander, pitching with a free and easy operation that he repeats consistently, pounded the zone with a well commanded 86-88 mph fastball that showed noticeable arm side run. His 71-73 mph breaking ball was on point for the entire contest and forced a lot of swings and misses from his opponents. The rising senior at Whitehouse HS also had a day at the plate collecting three hits, that included a bunt single in the 1st inning, a stand-up triple to the right centerfield fence in the 3rd inning, and a ringing double to left centerfield in the 5th.
