All Georgia Jackets Finale

Marietta, Ga. --- It was an all Georgia Jackets affair as they had 3 of the final 4 teams in the event. The organization was going to bring home some hardware, but the competition had to unfold to decide who it would ultimately be. Georgia Jackets 16u National ended up beating 16u Georgia Jackets 16u American, 9-0. 

In the Championship game, Zachary Harris got the start for the National squad and he ultimately would go on to be the winning pitcher. He threw 5 scoreless innings as he struck out 4 giving up just 2 hits while doing so. On the other side, the American squad threw a handful of guys a single inning with James Tully getting the start. 



Scoring was hard to come by in the first 3 innings as nothing could be generated on offense. The top of the 4th inning started with 3 walks for the National squad and then scoring was broken open by Zachary Harris who singled and knocked in a couple of runs. Nate Kerpics went on to single in the inning and knocked in a run as well. Fabien Guillen put the game out of reach with a bases clearing triple as he knocked in 3 more runs. 

16u Georgia Jackets went on to take home the hardware but it was a huge positive for the organization, proving that they have multiple relevant teams who can win on any given day.
