2022 Rankings: Risers & Gut Feel

Every spring we see players take the next step in terms of development and on field performance and below Jheremy Brown looks at nine player who have done just that, even with the shortened seasons. He also provided eight names who are his gut feel guys, players who we could look back at the end of the summer or even next year and say "he made a big time jump"

Andrew Dutkanych IV 
Dutkanych IV turned in one of the more impressive performances I saw all of last summer, a five inning, no-hit masterpiece during the 15u World Series in which he was in complete control from the first pitch of the game. Physically built at 6-foot-3, 205-pounds, Dutkanych IV certainly looks the part on the mound and given the ease of his overall operation it was only a matter of time before the velocity really started to take off.
