Are you looking to get noticed by college coaches? Then you need to attend a Perfect Game Showcase!
PG Showcases garner national exposure, social media visibility, and the opportunity to improve your player rankings.
Mandes is a big 6-6/205 right hander with a strong arm. He worked in the 84-88 mph range with his fastball and mixed in a 76 mph slider and a 79 mph change up.
Walker has next level actions and tools in the middle infield and showed very good range and glove skills in the games. He ran a 6.91 sixty while showing some right handed bat speed at the plate.
Espinosa is a strong 5-11/200 athlete who was perhaps the top hitting prospect at the Uncommitted Showcase. He has a crisp and strong right handed swing and makes consistent hard contact.
Rascoe has been a steady mid-80's thrower at many PG events and repeated that in Fort Myers, working 83-86 mph and showing good feel for his breaking ball. He also is a potential two-way player at the right school due to his very good bat speed.
Michael has a strong 5-10/170 build and has nice speed, with a 6.82 sixty time and good arm strength in the outfield. He's a left handed hitter with the strength to hit with some adjustments. Michael also threw 86 mph with a 73 mph curveball from the mound.
Kosmala looks the part of the college athlete with a strong 6-3/205 build to go with 6.98 speed and a strong throwing arm. He just played first base in drills but has all the tools to be an outfielder and continue to develop his right handed power potential.
Cumbee looks much younger than a senior and is very projectable physically. The 6-0/168 right handed hitter can fly and looks faster on the field than his 6.65 sixty time indicates.
Martin has a next level body at 6-2/195 and lots of natural athleticism with 6.64 speed and a strong outfield throwing arm.
Calero has a well balanced tool set that can play at the next level. He showed fluid and easy actions defensively in the middle infield, with plenty of speed and arm strength, and also had a loose and leveraged swing at the plate with some present bat speed.
Rivas posted a solid 1.89 pop time in drills due to a quick exchange and release. He also shows lots of right handed bat speed from an uphill swing approach that plenty of raw power.
There was plenty of speed at the Uncommitted Showcase and Mayer posted the fastest sixty time at 6.62. That speed showed itself especially well in games with his range in centerfield.
Nunez has never pitched at a PG event and didn't pitch at this showcase as well but was up to 92 mph during infield drills and it would be interesting to see the strong 6-0/190 pounder on the mound.
