Three Perfect Game scouts were able to get a taste of the Team USA-based Collegiate National Team this summer. In total 21 different players were viewed with select video being shared of these players below. There was a small handful of Team USA participants that were not seen by the PG scouts during the summer months and those players are not part of the ranking as shown. However, links to reports with video of some of these players during spring viewings during the 2018 college baseball season are available below.

* Sophomore in 2019 (draft-eligible in 2020)

Adley Rutschman is a candidate to go first overall in the 2019 draft as an athletic, switch-hitting catcher with pop from both sides of the plate and little question as to whether or not he can stick behind the dish at the next level. He blocks balls in the dirt well with good quickness, and is equally quick transferring the ball from his glove to his throwing hand while rifling low 1.9-second pop times. He has a smooth and easy, repeatable swing, from both sides of the plate, and he’s at his best driving the ball to the opposite field, something he did with regularity while in Omaha at the College World Series with the champion Oregon State Beavers. Rutschman led the Collegiate National Team in batting with a .355 average, with five of his 11 hits being doubles, and he didn't commit an error in nine games.
