Pierce Jones  OF - 2019 - Chicago, IL
Northern Illinois

Jones took an extremely loud round of batting practice, making a pro stadium look small to the pullside with tremendous raw power and bat speed, also showing off quality peripheral tools like an 89 mph arm from the OF and 6.81 seconds 60 yard dash speed. A verbal commitment to NIU, Jones shows prodigious upside.

Ira Clifton  RHP - 2019 - Fayetteville, GA
Erskine College

Clifton stood out on the mound right away in this event, working his fastball up to 84 mph and showing feel for three secondaries, including a knuckleball that aids in deception. He also showed projectable tools as a position player behind the plate and from both sides of it as a switch-hitter.

Rahul Champaneri  LHP - 2019 - Mundelein, IL
Mary Hardin-Baylor

Champaneri was very good on the mound, working his fastball up to 84 mph with a deceptive arm action and good angle to the plate. He also worked in a solid slider and very advanced changeup, mixing his pitches well and throwing a lot of strikes.

Noah Sustaita  RHP - 2019 - Joliet, IL

Sustaita has a highly-projectable, athletic build that will continue to fill out and add to his already solid profile on the mound, where he presently runs his fastball up to 83 mph with good plane and control. He also showed feel for a slider with sharp downer bite when on top of it.

Sabatello has a highly-projectable combination of size and tools, showing off an 86 mph arm from first base along with the athleticism necessary to potentially project to a corner outfield spot; and also showed off some loud raw power, driving the ball deep to the pullside with consistency.

Garry Maynard  3B - 2019 - Oswego, IL

Maynard has a very nice collection of tools, taking a loud round of BP, driving the ball into the air consistently with leverage and bat speed. He also showed a strong arm across the infield up to 83 mph, and also ran his fastball up to 83 mph on the mound with a solid slider.

Jake Adams  SS - 2019 - Gurnee, IL

Adams showed off a very well-rounded game in this event, showing quality tools throughout. He's got a nice compact stroke at the plate and does a good job putting barrel to ball to all fields, showed off an 83 mph arm across the infield, and also showed some intriguing upside on the mound.

Justyn Orozco  1B - 2019 - Hanover Park, IL

Orozco was perhaps the most consistent hitter in games all weekend long, including after tweaking his ankle on Saturday. He does an excellent job of finding the barrel authoritatively, showing the ability to drive the ball up both gaps consistently.

Ryan Brash  C - 2019 - Aiken, SC
Anderson (SC)

Brash looked good all around in this event, perhaps best behind the plate, with very quick actions and athleticism with a solid arm, showing the ability to throw bullets to 2nd base from his knees even. He also showed some utility on the mound, working up to 83 mph with good strikes.

Griffin Jordan  OF - 2019 - Riverside, IL

Jordan's athleticism stands out on the field, showing solid speed and overall athletic actions in the outfield. He also has a strong arm out there, throwing up to 86 mph back to the infield. Offensively, he's got a compact, quick stroke that covers the plate well and sprays liners consistently.

Broghan O'Connor  OF - 2019 - Bourbonnais, IL
Washington University (Missouri)

O'Connor had one of the more impressive physicality's of the event, with excellent strength throughout to go with solid athleticism and tools. He threw 84 mph from the outfield and showed the ability to drive the ball on a line with authority, consistently.


2020 Top Prospects

John Forneris  RHP - 2020 - Minooka, IL
Uncommitted

A primary pitcher, Forneris works his fastball up to 81 mph from a very low slot, creating angles and also showing a solid slider. He also threw 82 mph from the outfield, as well as showed some quickness to his hands on a line drive plane when hitting.


2021 Top Prospects

Lazaro Marquez  RHP - 2021 - St. Charles, IL
Miami (OH)

Marquez showed well in several facets during this event, including showing a nice smooth stroke at the plate with projectable power and quality defensive actions in the outfield, but really stood out on the mound, where he ran his FB up to 84 mph and threw three pitches for strikes.

Richard Lu  OF - 2021 - Grand Rapids, MI
University of Chicago

Lu had an all-around good performance in this event, showing an advanced approach at the plate with good bat speed and plate coverage, solid athleticism/speed, and a strong arm from the outfield up to 85 mph. He also showed a quick arm on the mound, working his fastball up to 82 mph and showing a nice slider.

Jake Keaser  RHP - 2021 - Rochester, MI
Michigan

Keaser has impressive size, especially for his age, and it showed both with the bat and on the mound. He worked up to 82 mph with a hard-biting curveball, and also showed some good jump off the barrel when hitting, working up the pull side gap with authority.

Blake Huffman  OF - 2021 - Columbus, IN

Huffman showed intriguing athleticism and overall tools, standing out for his 6.91 second 60 yard dash time as well as his athleticism and actions in the outfield. He also showed a patient, relaxed approach at the plate with good contact skills and a smooth stroke.


2022 Top Prospects

Ethan Patera  RHP - 2022 - Downers Grove, IL
Louisville

Patera is a highly-projectable righthander with a live arm. He showed off an 87 mph arm from the outfield before taking the mound, where he worked 80-83 mph with good arm side life, whippy arm speed, and flashes of a sharp slider with late tilt.

Alex Stanwich  OF - 2022 - Tinley Park, IL
Tennessee

Stanwich had a loud overall weekend, showing off an 87 mph arm from the outfield, taking a loud round of batting practice with good bat speed and leverage to the stroke, hitting well in game, and getting on the mound and working his sinking fastball up to 81 mph with good breaking ball.

Schaefer Wiskur  RHP - 2022 - Birch Run, MI
Madonna University

Wiskur showed a live right arm as a rising freshman, working his fastball up to 83 mph on the mound with very good and projectable arm speed, creating good life to the pitch as well as showing a breaking ball and changeup. He also threw 84 mph from the outfield and has solid athleticism out there as well.

Jack Mosh  SS - 2022 - Kansas City, MO
Missouri

Mosh stood out offensively in this event, especially as a rising freshman. He was consistently on time with a leveraged, quick stroke at the plate, working to all fields with well-struck liners both in BP and in game, mixing in solid hand actions in the infield as well.
