The regular season, and the conference tournament season, are behind us as we begin to look ahead to the 2018 postseason. The entire Field of 64 will be unveiled soon, but until then we update the PG/Rawlings College Top 25 one last time during the season, a rankings update that we view as more of an adjustment than anything.

That isn't to mean there aren't some significant movements. After winning the ACC Tournament Florida State enjoys the biggest jump, and they're one of eight teams in the Top 25 that won their conference tournament. FSU joins No. 3 Ole Miss (SEC), No. 8 Minnesota, No. 10 Southern Miss, No. 14 East Carolina (American Athletic), No. 15 Stetson (Atlantic Sun), No. 20 Coastal Carolina (Sun Belt) and No. 22 Missouri State (Missouri Valley) as the others.

To view Mike Rooney's final projected Field of 64, which lists the 31 automatic bids, the 16 Regional hosts and the remaining 33 projected at-large bids, please be sure to visit this feature: Final Projected Field of 64.

Entering the final in-season ranking are Louisville and Missouri State. Louisville has been making a strong case to re-enter the Top 25 in recent weeks after being removed in early- to mid-April. Missouri State on the other hand opened the year ranked 35th and spent most of the season on the periphery of the Top 25, but finished the season especially strong by beating Dallas Baptist in the final series of the regular season and then beat DBU again to capture the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament Championship.

Indiana and Kentucky, a pair of teams who spent the entire season in the Top 25, have been removed due to their struggles down the stretch and into their respective conference tournaments.

Be sure to tune in to Perfect Game College Baseball on SiriusXM ESPNU channel 84 from 5-7 p.m. ET as Daron Sutton and Mike Rooney break down the NCAA postseason field while looking ahead to Regional action.
