9:00 AM - 
The Hit Factory Tigers (1-0) had five different pitchers combine for a complete game, 2-0, shutout victory over the Boca Hitmen (0-1) in the first game of the day. Jose Vazquez and Anthony Dimillo led the Tigers on the mound with two innings each, while David Gonzalez (2-for-2, RBI) and Justin Rangel (2-for-3, R) each had two hits for the Tigers offensively. 

Hit Factory Elite (1-0) edged out a 4-3 win over the Gulf Coast Monarchs (0-1) in their first pool play game. William Boyer led Hit Factory Elite to the win with his two-run double in the top of the sixth inning. Boyer finished the game 2-for-3 with a double, a run scored and three RBI. Kevin Leshko also added two hits and scored a run for Hit Factory. The Monarchs tried to battle back in the bottom of the seventh as Jason Bello (2-for-3, 2 2B, R) doubled and later came around to score, but came up just short.

Jake D'Altrui of Turn 2 Baseball (1-0) stranded the tying and go-ahead runs for Kangaroo Court Roos National (0-1) on second and third base to help earn a 4-3 win. Kangaroo Court had two runners in scoring position but were unable to capitalize in their first game of the tournament. Gavin Howe (1-for-3, 3B, R, RBI) led Turn 2 offensively with a big triple in the gap in the first inning, while Ryan Shelbourne tossed six strong innings to pick up the win. The Roos were paced by Anthony Gualemi (1-for-2, 2B, R, RBI), Kyle Gavin (2-for-3) and Jessiah Branch (3.0 IP, 0 R, 2 K).

11:15 AM - Landen Maroudis helped the Kangaroo Court Roos National (1-1) even their pool play record with a complete game pitching effort in an 8-3 win over the Hit Factory Tigers (1-1). Maroudis struck out five in seven innings and also went 1-for-3 at the plate with a run scored. Anthony Gualemi and Kyle Gavin continued to swing a hot bats for the Roos as Gualemi was 3-for-3 with a double, run scored and two RBI, while Gavin was 2-for-3 with a double, triple, run scored and an RBI. David Gonzalez tallied his second multi-hit game of the day for the Tigers going 2-for-3, and Michael Brazer added a hit and two RBI.

The Elite Squad Outlaws (1-0) pounded out 16 run on 12 hits in their first tournament action to pick up a 16-5 win over the Gulf Coast Monarchs (0-2). Daniel Cuvet (2-for-3, 2 R, 2 RBI), Joseph Mincey (2-for-2, 3 R, 2B, 2 RBI), Bryan Rivera (2-for-2, 2 R, 2 RBI) and Devin Catoni (2-for-3, 2B, R) led the Outlaws offensively as the four through seven batters combined for eight runs, eight hits and six RBI. Jason Bello continued his strong afternoon with a hit, run scored and three RBI for the Monarchs, while Evan Taveras finished the game 2-for-2. 

The Lutz Lake Monsters (1-0) cruised to a 7-1 win over the Boca Hitmen (0-2) in their first tournament action. Charlie Dicampli (2-for-3, 2 R) and Brooks Chamberlin (2-for-3) were spark plugs at the top of the Lake Monsters lineup, while Joey Rametta was 1-for-3 with a triple and a run scored. Dean Dragos swung the bat well for the Hitmen, finishing the afternoon 2-for-6 with a double. 

1:30 PM - The EvoShield Florida Canes (1-0) started off on a strong note as they pounded out 13 runs on 12 hits in a 13-2 victory over Hit Factory Elite (1-1). Antonio Alvarez was outstanding both on the mound and at the plate. Alvarez pitched a complete game and allowed just four hits in five innings, while also going 2-for-3 with a home run, two runs scored and three RBI. Edian Espinal (2-for-4, 3B, 2 R), Jake Kulikowski (2-for-2, 2B, R, 2 RBI), Bradley Link (2-for-3, 2 R, RBI), and Victor Martinez (2-for-3, R, RBI) each had multi-hit games for the Canes. Julian Montes was 2-for-2 for Hit Factory Elite in the loss.

Lutz Lake Monsters (1-0-1) and Turn 2 Baseball (1-0-1) battled to a six-inning tie in their second respective pool play games. Charlie Dicampli stayed hot at the plate going 2-for-3 with a double, triple, run scored and three RBI, while Scout Simpson was 2-for-2 to lead the Lake Monsters offensively. Carter White was a standout for Turn 2 Baseball as he finished the game a perfect 3-for-3 with a run scored and an RBI.

The Elite Squad Outlaws improved to (2-0) on the day with a 11-2 win over the Georgia Florida Boys (0-1). Nickolas Mora was outstanding in relief for the Outlaws, tossing 4.2 scoreless innings with four strikeouts. Offensively, the Outlaws were paced by Daniel Cuvet (3-for-4, 2 R), Bryan Rivera (2-for-2, R, 2 RBI), Jeter Polledo (2B, 2 R, RBI) and Paul Lane (2B, 3 RBI). Joseph Thomas had a triple in just two at-bats, while Dalton Kuhn had a hit and a run scored for the Georgia Florida Boys.

3:45 PM - The Georgia Florida Boys (1-1) rebounded with an 8-6 win over the EvoShield Florida Canes (1-1) to even their pool play record. The Georgia Florida Boys tallied 13 hits in the contest and were led by Dalton Knapp (3-for-3, 2 3B, 2 R, 3 RBI), Qrey Lott (2-for-3, 2 R), Dalton Kuhn (2-for-3, R, 2 RBI) and Joseph Thomas (2-for-2). Edian Espinal was a perfect 3-for-3 at the dish with two triples, two runs scored and an RBI in the loss.
