Top 3 Prospects

1. Connor Brogdon, rhp, California Expos (SIGNED/Phillies)
Brogdon was the 10th-round pick of the Philadelphia Phillies this past June, and enjoyed a successful professional debut for the team’s affiliate in the New York-Penn League. That came after going 14-1 with a 2.87 ERA in two years combined at Lewis-Clark State, leading the Warriors to a pair of NAIA national championships. At 6-foot-6, 185-pounds he creates excellent angle to homeplate and has touched as high as 95 mph with his fastball while sitting in the 87-91 range.

2. Jamal O’Guinn, of, California Expos (Southern California/FR in 2018)
O’Guinn went undrafted this past June after entering the draft as Perfect Game’s 319th overall draft-eligible prospect coming out of high school in Fresno, California. Prior to beginning his college career at USC he enjoyed a tuneup in the Central Valley Collegiate League and draws attention for his physical 6-foot-2, 200-pound frame that gives him very exciting power potential that he has yet to fully tap into.

3. Rickie Garcia, rhp, California Expos (Fresno Pacific/R-SO in 2018)
Garcia was named the 2017 CVCL Pitcher of the Year, topping out at 91 mph this summer after missing the spring season at Fresno Pacific. He returns to the Sunbirds for his redshirt sophomore season after seeing time as both a pitcher and a third baseman in 2016 as a true freshman.
