David Conforti (2017, Charlestown, Mass.) hit a solo shot and helped the North East Baseball Mudhens win their Tuesday match against the CSB Spikes by a score of 8-2. The NYU commit hit his home run in the third inning. It traveled a distance of 349 feet with an exit velocity of 97 mph off the bat. Conforti has large, strong frame and hits with a crouched stance and slight lift of the front foot. He has a nice, loose and long swing and uses good upper body strength to create hard contact.

Georgia State commit Trey Horton (2017, Acworth, Ga.) pitched four innings, giving up one unearned one run on one hit, three walks and struck out six. Horton has an above average change up that generated an abundance of swings and misses with good fade and cut. He throws with a solid and long effortless over the top arm angle, which produces a quality fastball with riding life that sat in the mid upper 80s, mostly sitting at 86 and 87. He throws an early breaking curveball with good depth and hard 11-to-5 break which ran in the low-70s.

Gregory Ryan (2018, North Chesterfield, Va.) hit a double and went 1-for-3 with a run scored and two RBIs. Ryan is a Pittsburgh commit, with a mature and athletic frame. He has a balanced swing with lift and displayed fielding actions at second base.

Blake Evans (2018, Acworth, Ga.) went 2-for-3 with a run scored and a RBI. Evans has a small, athletic frame and hits with an upright stance and small leg kick as a trigger. He has a high contact swing and hits on a line drive plane, he hit a hard RBI single to drive a run for his team in the fifth inning. Evans will be a Georgia Southern Eagle in 2018.

William Woods (2017, Trenton, Tenn.) threw 4 1/3 scoreless innings , giving up three hits while walking two and striking out nine. The Tennessee-Martin commit has a smooth, balanced delivery with solid over the top arm action and he threw a quality fastball that sat in the upper-80s, reaching up to 91-92. His fastball has great life and he paired it with a great change up that fooled batters with solid fade and run. His changeup sat from 79-81. He mixed in a tight breaking curve, that flashes potential with little depth. He used his curve to establish the strike zone and his changeup as his out pitch and does a great job of throwing to both side of the plate.
