There is one week left in the regular season for most conferences and soon the concept of rankings will give way to the NCAA Tournament. The top six teams all took care of business with Louisville posting a very impressive road sweep of Clemson, causing the Tigers to fall to number twelve.

The SEC had a very strong week at the top as Kentucky rebounded with a sweep of Tennessee and LSU swept Auburn.  TCU drops two spots after losing the series at Oklahoma by way of back-to-back walk-off losses. Of more serious concern to the Frogs though is the injury that star Luken Baker sustained in game two.

Our greatest challenge this week took place in the late-teens as South Florida advanced one spot to number 17 despite a 2-2 week. The rationale here was that one of those wins was at Florida who may be the hottest team in the country. Wake Forest also advanced despite a modest 3-2 week but their series win at Florida State carried the week if you will.

Maryland comes out of the rankings and the Terrapins have now lost three consecutive Big Ten series. Oklahoma comes into the Top 25 and their series victory over TCU was a loud pairing for their series win over Texas Tech in early April.

Auburn continued their free fall, dropping to number 25 and the Tigers have now lost seven in a row. Both their ranking and Regional hopes will be on the line this week when they host Ole Miss.

Keep an eye on Central Florida who now has 36 wins. The Knights are tied with South Florida and Houston for first place in the American.

And don't forget to tune in to Perfect Game College Baseball on Monday nights as Daron Sutton and Mike Rooney will recap all of the week's action from 9-11 p.m. ET on SiriusXM College Sports Nation channel 84.
