March 7 Top 25Top 150 Junior College Prospects

Perhaps coming as a surprise to no one, Chipola (Fla.) remains in the No. 1 spot this week after blowing through their first week of conference play with a 4-0 record, leaving them at 23-4 overall. They have three big tests coming up in back-to-back-to-back weeks, however, with Pensacola State, Northwest Florida State and Gulf Coast State all looking to knock off No. 1.

Jones County (Miss.) ran their record to 18-0 and as such have vaulted up to No. 2 overall, a season-high for them thus far. Santa Fe (Fla.) at No. 3 and Connors State (Okla.) at No. 4 continue the top 5, and also continue the trend of schools reaching their peak ranking position thus far. Rounding out the top 5 is Santa Rosa (Calif.) slipping from No. 2 after a bit of a rough week of conference play in California.

Chattahoochee Valley (Ala.) rises two spots to No. 6, LSU-Eunice drops one to No. 7, and San Jac (Texas) slips four spots down to No. 8. Walters State (Tenn.) continued their hot start this week, running their record to 25-4 with a 6-0 conference mark, and as such bumped up to No. 9 while State College of Florida slipped one spot to No. 10, rounding out the top 10.

San Joaquin Delta (Calif.) is one of the bigger risers this week, moving up four spots from No. 16 to No. 12; but no one rose more than Odessa (Texas), coming from unranked a week ago all the way up to No. 14 this week on the heels of an 18-2 start.

Fellow newcomers Orange Coast (Calif.) and Fresno (Calif.) check in at Nos. 18 and 25, respectively, and they'll look to either move up or move out of the way for plenty of other schools on the outside looking in this week.

With conference play in full swing for the most part across the country, these rankings are likely to be very fluid moving forward, especially as these ranked teams begin to play each other in-conference. Make sure to stay tuned every week for updates.

Rankings are based on games through Sunday, March 12.
