An Important Message to Teams and Players Regarding College Coaches and Jupiter 3:00 pm EST Oct 27,

We plan to have 80 teams and the vast majority of the top prospects in Jupiter Nov 17-21. It will be the most talent compiled all year at any one place. We hope to see everyone there including a couple hundred Div I college coaches.

A few things everyone should know:

November 17-21 is during the NCAA "Quiet Period". This means Div. I college coaches cannot scout or evaluate players during this time.

There is a "Dead Period" Nov 7-10 meaning no evaluations whatsoever - coaches cannot travel. Starting Nov 11 until the middle of March NCAA coaches are in a "Quiet Period".

At the request of many major college programs, the NCAA is reviewing the situation. Perhaps some sort of one time exemption will be allowed because of the Natural Disaster (Hurricane Wilma) that caused the problem.

We have received word that some players are being told that they should not attend the Jupiter Tournament that has been rescheduled for Nov 17-21. Players have been told because of the NCAA "quiet period", they should just wait until their high school season. We do not wish to sway people either way, but they should be aware of the entire situation rather than listen to one person's opinion.

In mid-March when Div I coaches can again actively evaluate players, they are deeply engrossed in their college season. College coaches just don't have sufficient time to go out and scout players. Especially those players they know very little about beforehand.

Please understand ... whether a player will sign early or sign later, the WWBA Tournament in Jupiter provides the best possible opportunity to create interest.

We already know, based on many years of experience, there will be a large number of players who have already committed to Div I schools but are playing in Jupiter. We also know there are many players who are going to create serious interest with DI colleges based on their attendance and performance in the World Championship this November.

In fact, we are going to track this very closely! When all is said and done... We are going to prove it to everyone, especially those who told players not to go because of the NCAA situation.

Please keep in mind

Even in the worst possible case - DI recruiters not in attendance T

hese recruiters are in a "quiet period", they are not in a "coma"!

They will want as much information as they can lay their hands on. This is the time of year when they have the time to study the information provided and make plans.

The info provided by PG to college coaches will be the most complete ever compiled and it will be substantiated by high level Major League scouts and other important baseball people. Sometimes great things can come out of adverse conditions.

The choice is simple... You can stay home or you can attend. Is it better to give up or to do everything possible to reach your goals of playing college or professional baseball?

Please don't listen to those who don't know any better. They might be talking you out of the best opportunity of your baseball life. We know this will be true for some players because it always works out that way.

Unsigned players during the early period

Those who do not sign early are in a position that requires some serious thought. Starting November 7th until mid-March, college coaches can't find you. You're the ones who have very few options other than attending camps. There will be limited options to create recruiting interest with DI schools. There are no options better than performing in the Jupiter event!

While there are never any guarantees in life, being seen by a large number of Major League Scouts including National Scouting Directors and Crosscheckers... the top agents in the business, top small colleges and Jucos, Baseball America, and Perfect Game is the very best option for creating college interest! That's about as good as it gets!

Anyone telling players differently is simply not doing the right thing in the best interest of the players.

We plan to do everything legally possible to help NCAA coaches and the many players.

No matter what the NCAA decides, here are 10 important indisputable facts to consider.

   1.     There will be an extremely large number of highest level MLB Scouts in attendance November 17-21.
   2.     Many of these scouts will be the Scouting Director himself of most MLB Clubs.
   3.     Many small colleges and top Juco programs will be in attendance.
   4.     Most of the most respected agents in baseball will be in attendance.
   5.     Perfect Game has over 70 scouts who will see every play of every game.
   6.     Baseball America will be there covering the event.
   7.     Many of the players attending will have already signed with Div I schools. These players are not coming to Jupiter to find a college fit.
They are coming for the best competition because that is what the best true prospects want. Of course, they also want to be seen by
the many MLB Scouting Directors and other scouts. There are always several 1st round selections each year that come out of the
           Jupiter tournament.
   8.     Everything possible will be done to insure DI Coaches will either be allowed to attend or they will receive the most thorough
information, including video, ever produced from any event on each and every player. We are committed to providing the very best,
even if we have to hire a hundred extra workers!
   9.     Also keep in mind that professional scouts, agents, Perfect Game, Juco's, Baseball America and many others work very closely with
Division I coaches. Everyone has to work together because you never know when one will need something from the other.
   10.   We've received word that there could be a record number of former college players at this year's event. Baseball people find ways to
           get the job done!

So far only one team has dropped out.

There could be others, but maybe not. So our purpose in writing this is not motivated by anything other than making sure players and teams fully understand the situation and what we plan to do. If we get through to just a couple of talented players and help them achieve their goals... writing this will have been very worthwhile.

A giant thank you to the St Louis Cardinals, Florida Marlins and Roger Dean Stadium. Most importantly the staff in Jupiter deserves the most praise of all. Despite the devastating impact Hurricane Wilma has had on their personal lives, they have banded together to make sure the WWBA Championship was saved. We can't thank them enough.

Also we would like to thank:

- The many Division I coaches who have called in support of the decision we had to make and the rescheduling date.

- The many Major League Scouting Directors and other scouts who have expressed their interest and continued support for the event.

- The many Jupiter Coaches and parents who have been so supportive.

- And the many other friends who called in their support.

There are so many who truly understand our strong desire to do everything humanly possible for those involved in this great event! Our goal is to achieve even more than before... not less... for players, coaches, colleges, scouts and everyone else.

Once again... We plan to have 80 teams and the vast majority of the top prospects from the USA, Canada and Latin America in Jupiter Nov 17-21. It will be the most talent all year at any one place. We hope to see you all there!!!

Performance Baseball Rolls On

Championship teams often reveal themselves when the game isn’t going their way. Performance Baseball 2028/Milwaukee Brewers Scout Team did exactly that. Trailing Florida Burn 2028 Scout through four innings, the Brewers refused to panic. Instead, they relied on timely hitting, consistent pitching, and an unselfish approach at the plate, rallying a five-run fifth inning before pulling away for a 9-5 victory to clinch their spot in the semifinals. The comeback was fueled by contributions throughout the lineup. Six different players drove in runs, including two RBIs each from Aiden Capobianco and Cameron Massey, while Matthew Heredia, Parker Weston, Ethan Smith, and Aj Bonnette each added an RBI of their own. On the mound, Derek Wenzel set the tone with 3.2 solid innings before Ethan Smith shut the door in relief, helping preserve the comeback victory. Although the Brewers have had a...

From the opening pitch, JK Select controlled the pace of the game. The offense jumped out early, scoring 6 runs in the 1st inning after timely hits from MVP Sean Shindo and Kade Manarpaac. The early lead gave the pitching staff confidence as they worked efficiently through the opposing lineup. “I've worked hard to get better at my game for the past few months; it means a lot that I did well and performed in a tournament like this” said Shindo. Starting pitcher Maddox Prones turned in a strong performance, allowing 3 runs while striking out 5 batters over 3 innings. The defense backed the effort with great plays in the middle infield, preventing GBG Vegas from building momentum....

On the second day of the 2026 Perfect Game National Elite Championship, one swing turned heads across the ballpark. The next one brought everyone to a stop. With Wow Factor Nation 16U trailing midway through its matchup against Sandlot Scout Team 2028, Micheal O'Connor launched a solo home run to spark the offense. Just one batter later, Aaron Frink stepped into the box and sent another ball over the fence, delivering back-to-back home runs that quickly became one of the most talked about moments of the tournament’s opening days. Parents gathered along the nets, players from previous games stopped to watch, and college scouts turned their attention toward the action as the two towering swings energized the crowd and brought new life to the game. Although Wow Factor Nation ultimately lost 5-3 after a hard-fought performance, the back-to-back home runs served as a reminder of the...
