2022 Top Prospects

George Kruse  3B - 2022 - Spring Lake, NJ
Uncommitted

Kruse showcased plenty of ability on both sides of the ball, as the uncommitted 2022 Grad displayed smooth, fluid actions in the field and the ability to range well laterally. At the plate, he implored a simple, repeatable stroke to produce numerous line drives and some gap-to-gap power potential.


2023 Top Prospects

Alex Stanyek  OF - 2023 - Holmdel, NJ
Miami

Without a doubt, the top performer of the day, Stanyek was throwing some fuel, working in the upper-80s, grabbing a few 90 mphs, as he punched out the side easily to conclude the Monday session of the Northeast Indoor showcase. While also working up to 91 mph from the outfield, the George Washington commit had one of the loudest rounds of BP, impacting the ball with easy juice to the left-center gap.

Ryan Perez  OF - 2023 - Greenwich, CT
Longwood

Perez put together a loud round of BP and carried it into live at-bats, finding a couple barrels. Incorporating his strong lower half well, using a lofted left-hand stroke, recording an exit velocity of 89 mph, Perez projects to be a force at the plate. The uncommitted 2023 Grad showed good routes to the ball in the outfield and developing arm strength up to 83 mph.


2024 Top Prospects

Jonas Aponick  RHP - 2024 - Sugarloaf, PA
George Washington

Aponick impressed on the mound and in the field with clean actions and projectable arm strength, Aponick was 85 mph across the diamond while also cruising in the low-80s on the bump, topping 84 mph. Showing feel for his three-pitch-mix, tunneling his secondary pitches well, the Sugarloaf PA-native generated tons of whiffs during his outing. With loads of strength remaining throughout his 6'0"/170lbs frame, the velocity should continue to tick up as he projects long-term on the mound.

Carter Klein  OF - 2024 - Chester, NJ
Skidmore College

Klein showed all-around versatility, as the uncommitted 2023 Grad recorded arm strength up to 83 mph from the outfield and punched out the side on the mound. At the plate, he displayed exceptional feel for the barrel and power potential that will continue to develop.

Nick Lennon  RHP - 2024 - Farmingdale, NJ

Lennon recorded the fastest forty-yard time of the day of 4.74-seconds, Lennon flashed some twitchiness in his actions, with throws up to 85 mph from the outfield. Improving throughout his round of BP, showcasing line-drive impact through the middle-of-the-field. Later getting on the bump during live at-bats, Lennon showcased a lively fastball that got up to 86 mph, overpowering hitters as he was able to create tough downhill angle.

Louis Inserra  3B - 2024 - Coplay, PA

Inserra showcased hitterish tendencies throughout the day as he put together a solid round of BP, peppering line-drives into the gaps. A quick, compact stroke with some barrel whip, the Coplay PA-native flashed some juice when we was able to get his foot down on time, backspinning balls to the pull side. While also having the hardest hit ball during live at-bats, Inserra turned around a heater into the right-center gap, showing off those quick hands again with great barrel control. Behind the dish, he implores quick feet to gain ground towards his target, while delivering accurate throws to the bag.

Reid Walter  RHP - 2024 - Cold Spring Harbor, NY
Ithaca College

Walter impressed in the batter's box, standing at 6'3"/180lbs, using his long levers to elevate the ball through the gaps, flashing intriguing power potential as he continues to add to his frame. Working in the mid-to-upper 70s on the mound, Walters flashed a developing three pitch arsenal that could certainly project as plus as he continues to mature physically.


2026 Top Prospects

Harrison Maull  SS - 2026 - Garnet Valley, PA
Uncommitted

Proving he could hold his own, Maull was one of the top performers regardless of age during Monday's portion of the Northeast Indoor showcase. Barreling up balls in BP and during live at-bats, Maull displayed advanced bat-to-ball skills with line-drive tendencies through the middle of the field. A slick fielding middle-infielder with clean actions and accurate throws across the diamond, Maull should be able to stick at short as he develops physically.
