Roman had an explosively loud weekend offensively, taking a loud round of batting practice and adding multiple hard, extra base barrels in game. He's got interesting athleticism and overall defensive tools behind the plate and in the infield as well.

Donald Tober  RHP - 2023 - Hillside, IL

Tober showed some serious tools in this one, working in the 83-87 mph range on the mound with good life and two good breaking balls. That arm strength shows up defensively as well, and is his best tool overall.

Kyle Ezell  SS - 2023 - Gary, IN
Wilberforce University

Ezell is a burner of a runner, clocking a 6.63 second 60 time, and showed off that twitch in games as well. The swing is compact and quick with good strength behind it, and he has the ability to impact the game defensively in both the IF and OF.

Yuhki Yamada  SS - 2023 - Palatine, IL
North Central College

Yamada was one of the stars of the event defensively, showing well both in the infield and outfield in drills and continuing that into games, making several sterling plays and showing good ability to handle the bat as well.


2024 Top Prospects

Jonah Weathers  OF - 2024 - Chicago, IL
John A. Logan College

Weathers had a good weekend, showing good feel to hit at the plate in game and in BP while showing some defensive versatility as well. He also got on the mound and reached 84 mph, showing intriguing all-around ability.

Tom Ford  RHP - 2024 - Lisle, IL

Ford has a really projectable frame and interesting upside on the mound, up to 81 mph in this look with good carry through the zone and feel to spin a slider. He also has some power at the plate.

Khamaree Thomas  OF - 2024 - Chicago, IL

Thomas clocked a 6.98 second 60 yard dash but his speed plays faster than that, really showing the ability to cover ground in the outfield and make several excellent plays as well as run the bases. He's got projectable bat speed at the plate, as well.

Danko has some serious arm strength, reaching 86 mph on his throws from the OF and working up to 81 mph on the mound with good life on the fastball and feel to spin a breaker.

Nohava has interesting tools and physicality for his grade, showing bat speed from the right side with some pull-side power to go along with good arm strength, reaching 80 mph on the mound with flashes of feel to spin.
