2022 Top Prospects

Jordan Oliver  RHP - 2022 - Lancaster, PA
Uncommitted

Oliver threw pure fuel from the mound, touching 90 mph with the FB while mixing a fading low 80's changeup that hitters constantly swung over top of. He worked downhill extremely well and pounded the zone corner to corner with good command of his arsenal.

Gavin Schrader  OF - 2022 - Batavia, NY
Niagara

Schrader impressed on both sides of the ball, as the long-levered, well-proportioned 2022 Grad ran a 6.96 sixty, threw 86 mph from the outfield and displayed immense power potential at the plate. The X-factor came when the durably built left-hander ran his fastball up to 87 mph and unleashed a hellacious slider for tons of swings-and-misses.


2023 Top Prospects

Reece Moroney  SS - 2023 - Fair Haven, NJ
Rhode Island

Moroney impressed in all facets of the game, as the athletic middle-infielder displayed smooth, fluid actions in the field and recorded arm strength up to 88 mph across the diamond. At the plate, he implores a simple approach with an innate ability to deliver the barrel on-time and with authority. To top it all off, he stepped on the mound out of the 'pen and paired a late biting breaking ball with a fastball up to 86 mph. The uncommitted 2023 Grad has advanced instincts and a high baseball IQ.

Xavier Cortez  SS - 2023 - Vineland, NJ
Wilmington

Cortez was a true two-way threat, putting the athleticism on display from both sides of the field. Offensively, he recorded multiple knocks in game with the ability to wait back on the ball and explode at contact. On the bump, Cortez sat 84-86 mph with two nasty off speed pitches including a sharp 11-5 curve and a fading changeup that fell off a table.

Nicolas LoBello  OF - 2023 - New York, NY
Hofstra

LoBello simply raked at the dish, displaying a line drive approach to all parts of the field with a repeatable level swing. He uses his natural athletic ability to create carry on the baseball, recording an exit velo of 85 mph. LoBello was also a defensive force, showing clean mechanics and a cannon from the OF up to 92 mph.

Charlie Tallman  SS - 2023 - Fair Haven, NJ
Sacred Heart

Tallman is a high-energy 2023 Grad with quick twitch athleticism and plenty of present tools. The uncommitted prospect ran a 6.82 sixty, threw 87 mph across the diamond and displayed an advanced approach with barrel skills at the plate. The offensive prowess translates well into game action, as Tallman collected two hits in his first game and followed it up with a No-Doubt homer in his second. He can affect the game in many ways, as he made several tough plays in the dirt, wreaked havoc on the bases and is a consummate leader on the field.

Joseph Ciancimino  RHP - 2023 - Staten Island, NY
Pittsburgh

Ciancimino showed out on the mound, working from a live compact 3/4 arm slot and running the gun up to 88 mph. He showcased clear run into the hands of righties that consistently produced swing and miss / weak contact, and flashed an 11-5 slurve with solid vertical and horizontal plane. Also, displayed two-way ability by recording arm strength up to 88 mph across the diamond and offensive prowess at the plate.

Joey Zito  LHP - 2023 - Dover, PA
Towson

Zito was impressive in his two-innings of work, as the physical left-hander ran his fastball up to 86 mph from a high three-quarters arm slot. The uncommitted 2023 Grad pounded the strike zone with the fastball, flashing exploding life through the zone and mixed in two swing-and-miss breaking balls as his go-to secondaries. There is plenty of projection remaining for the Dover, PA native, as he should continue to physically mature and add more velocity.

Vince Davis  3B - 2023 - Somerdale, NJ
Manhattan

Davis is a projectable 2023 Grad with true two-way abilities and tons of upside on both sides of the ball. He displayed a solid line drive path at the plate with quickness to his hands and strength in his lower half at the plate, while recording arm strength up to 84 mph across the diamond. The uncommitted New Jersey native ran his fastball up to 85 mph in his two scoreless innings on the mound, sequencing his two-pitch effectively to generate tons of weak contact. The young right-hander punched out four and showed aptitude for spin as well.

Raffaele Rogers  SS - 2023 - Haddonfield, NJ
Lehigh

Rogers showcases an advanced approach at the plate with projectable power and excellent barrel skills. The young infielder recorded arm strength up to 84 mph across the diamond during drills, displayed plenty of lateral range and smoothness to his actions in the dirt.

Alexander D'Ambrosio  RHP - 2023 - Marlboro, NJ
Seton Hall

'23 RHP D'Ambrosio showed clear life out of the hand up to 85 mph with clean repeatable mechanics that consistently pounded the zone in his 2 innings of work on the mound. He flashed a looping 11-5 curve to keep hitters off balance and possesses raw tools that will only continue to develop.


2024 Top Prospects

Erick Diaz  OF - 2024 - Middletown, NY
Manhattan

Diaz was impressive on both sides of the ball, as the 2024 Grad ran a 6.69 sixty and showed high-level bat-to-ball skills and a heavy barrel. The switch-hitting outfielder implores a simple setup from both sides, uses advanced hand-eye coordination and lightning quick hands to deliver the barrel with authority. He uses the whole field and the swing translates well into game action. He exhibits good routes in the grass and developing arm strength up to 82 mph during drills.

Jon Young  SS - 2024 - Cherry Hill, NJ
Alabama

Young is smooth 2024 infielder with tons of projectable attributes on both sides of the ball. The left-handed hitting New Jersey native implores a loose, lofted stroke with good usage of his lower half and a whippy barrel to impact the baseball from gap-to-gap. In the field, he uses his angles effectively to field cleanly and displays good lateral range to either side. Recorded online, accurate throws up to 84 mph across the diamond.

Rhys Bowie  LHP - 2024 - Haworth, NJ
Wake Forest

Bowie fits the crafty lefty definition, but can also run the gun up a little with a FB at 82 mph. He showcased deceptive mechanics with the ability to dot any pitch in his arsenal on command. As an out pitch, Bowie broke out a disgusting tight 12-6 curve that he successfully used to work backwards in counts and proved he could drop it backdoor for a strike.

JT Meyer  RHP - 2024 - Old Bridge, NJ
Uncommitted

Meyer impressed throughout his three innings of work, running his fastball up to 83 mph from an over-the-top arm slot. The young 2024 Grad implores a simple operation, uses drop and drive lower half mechanics and gets good extension out in front. Mixed in a 12-6 curveball with downer action when thrown with conviction. He allowed just one hit, did not allow a run and punched five hitters along the way.

Jack Reichlin  C - 2024 - Exton, PA
Stevens Institute of Technology

Reichlin was a stud behind the plate, posting a 1.93 pop time with a quick compact arm motion that created carry to second base. He was also more than productive offensively, driving a double to the wall in game with a lifted swing path and recording a 85 mph exit velo in workouts.


2025 Top Prospects

Johnny Ortegae  RHP - 2025 - Boothwyn, PA
St. Joseph's

Ortegae showed off a young live arm from the mound, working out of a low whippy 3/4 slot and touching 81 mph. The 2025 grad was aggressive in the zone with arm side run and flashed a hammer 11-5 curve with late break effectively for an out pitch.
