Del Guercio starts from a slightly closed and coiled stance, before unwinding with his strong lower half to produce tons of present bat speed. He stays short and direct to the baseball, has strength in his hands and delivers the barrel with authority.
Joseph Ciancimino (2022 3B, Staten Island, NY) showed off a well-rounded hit tool throughout his round, as he created loud impact from gap-to-gap and flashed projectable power. The Radford University commit incorporates a long, loose swing path with quick twitch movements and plenty of present bat speed to stay through the hitting zone for a long time.
Nicholas Terefenko (2022 3B, Freehold, NJ) displayed the propensity to find the barrel often throughout his round, as the 6-foot-4, 200-pound first baseman delivered numerous line drives and flashed some power potential. He incorporates a good weight shift into contact with quick hands and creates loads of leverage out in front.
Jon Young (2024 SS, Cherry Hill, NJ) is a projectable young hitter with advanced bat-to-ball skills and some juice to the pullside. The smooth left-handed hitting infielder incorporates a slightly lofted stroke with a good hip turn and lightning quick hands to deliver the barrel with authority. Displayed some long-term power projection, leaving the yard during his round.
Reece Moroney (2023 SS, Fair Haven, NJ) continued to impress, as the athletic middle-infielder delivered one of the better rounds of BP. The uncommitted 2023 Grad uses a simple stroke with advanced bat-to-ball skills, an innate handle of the barrel and lightning quick hands to scorch lined drives to all fields. He capped it off by flashing some power, as he launched a homer to right center field to finish his round.
Jack Balcer (2023 OF, Wayne, PA) used his a simple middle-of-the field approach, strong hands and good barrel skills to deliver a consistent round of BP. The athletically built primary outfielder incorporates a flatter swing plane to stay short and direct to the baseball, exhibits plenty of present bat speed and impacts the baseball with authority.
Sean (John) McAdams (2022 SS, Southport, CT) showed clear intent and a simple, repeatable line drive swing path throughout his round. The uncommitted 2022 Grad implores good usage of his lower half to turn the barrel and strength in hands to deliver the barrel with authority. He uses the entire field effectively, as he scorched line drives from gap-to-gap.
Erick Diaz (2024 OF, Middletown, NY) showed off impressive switch-hitting ability, as he produced several well-struck line drives and power potential from both sides. From the left-side, he incorporates more a gap-to-gap approach with compact bat speed to spray line drives that carried the alleys. Gavin Schrader (2022 OF, Batavia, NY) had the loudest round of the day, as the left-handed hitting primary outfielder left the yard four times during his round. He implores a loose, leveraged stroke with good usage of his lower half and strong hands to impact the baseball out in front.
Will Baumann (2022 1B, Albany, NY) was not to be out done by Schrader, as the hulking first baseman went deep three times during his round. The 6-foot-3, 215-pound 2022 Grad has loose wrists and delivers the barrel to the front with strength and precision.
