White vs Royal Game Highlights

4/25/2021

Drew Lykes (2025 3B, Oklahoma City, OK) Showed good feel for the barrel with the ability to control bat head throughout the zone. Had a knack for finding the barrel. Picked up two base hits in two trips to the plate.

Adam Mein (2025 RHP, Ankeny, IA) Utilized a level, line drive barrel plane through extension. Displayed good balance at the plate with the ability to work to all fields. Hit an inside the park home run to the right centerfield gap in his first at-bat of the game.

Tyler Wood (2025 RHP, Lees Summit, MO) Showed a very mature presence on the mound with clean, repeatable mechanics. Ball jumped out of hand well with late run to arm side in the low to mid 80's, topped at 85 mph. Also flashed late, hard sweep to glove side with his slider in the low 70's. Wood worked three hitless innings while striking out eight batters.

4/25/2021

Jameson Damato (2025 RHP, Mound, MN) The Minnesota native displayed good feel for his fastball and consistently located to each edge of the plate, topped at 73 mph. Changed speed effectively with a breaking ball in the mid 60's as well. Worked three scoreless innings while striking out five batters. Damato also impressed at the plate showing a clean linear barrel plane with present bat speed. Hit an inside the park home run to the right centerfield gap in his first at-bat of the game.

Gannon Miller (2025 C, Ozark, MO) Showed a smooth barrel path through the zone with an aggressive approach. Looked to attack the baseball with intent and effective threw hands to contact. Doubled in his second at-bat of the game.

John Lisec (2025 3B, Omaha, NE) Displayed a quick arm through extension that produced solid life with a fastball that topped at 79 mph. Attack the zone and created good downhill tilt to the bottom of the zone. Lisec worked two innings, striking out four batters.

Wyatt Vincent (2025 OF, Nixa, MO) Vincent continued his impressive weekend with an inside the park home run to left centerfield. The 2025 grad consistently produces good bat speed through the zone with the ability to create consistent hard contact. 


Royal vs Maroon Game Highlights

4/25/2021

Charlie Wortham (2025 C, St. Peters, MO) Displayed quick hands through the zone with the ability to turn the barrel with intent. Stayed balanced throughout his swing. Tripled in his first at-bat of the game.

Jimmy Joseph Mowles (2025 SS, Dallas, TX) The 2025 grad has shown athletic actions on both sides of the ball throughout the weekend. Tracks the baseball well in the outfield and showed extended range to balls in the gap. Offensively, Mowles employed a simple swing path that created consistently hard contact. Doubled in his first at-bat of game action.

Cale Fossett (2026 RHP, Roeland Park, KS) Impressed while on the mound aggressively attacking the zone and changing speed. Located fastball to the bottom quadrants of the zone in the mid 70's, topped at 77 mph. Flashed solid depth with a curveball offering as well in the low 60's. Fossett worked two hitless innings while striking out four batters.


Batting Practice Highlights

4/24/2021

Jimmy Joseph Mowles (2025 SS, Dallas, TX) is a switch-hitter who has similar swings and more importantly similar bat speed from both sides of the plate.  He has good present strength and got some balls to jump, especially from the left side of the plate.

Wesley Brown (2026 LHP, Kingsville, MO) is a young primary left handed pitcher who both stood out on the mound and also with his left handed bat during BP.  He has quick hands and made solid pull line drive contact.

Parker Mann (2025 SS, Nixa, MO) was one of many future Nixa HS players at the event with talent.  He had a solid round of pull line drive contact, showing an accurate barrel and good hand quickness from a simple and repeatable approach.

Gannon Miller (2025 C, Ozark, MO) has a strong lower half and uses it well to help develop bat speed.  He swings with intent and can get some carry to the pull side.

Charlie Wortham (2025 C, St. Peters, MO) hits from a tall stance with an aggressive shift into contact and nice extension and lift in his swing.  He projects lots of future power once he starts adding strength and physical maturity.

Conor Booth (2025 C, Wahoo, NE) was yet another right handed hitting catcher who used his present strength well to generate bat speed and some pull side power.

Parker Elliott (2025 3B, Nixa, MO) is one of the strongest players at the event with a 6-0/185 build and the left handed hitter has a nice lifting swing and plenty of future potential.

Caeden Cloud (2025 SS, Nixa, MO) has nice hand quickness and gets the barrel out in front aggressively.  He could add even more bat speed quickly with more lower half use to get off his back side.

Wyatt Vincent (2025 OF, Nixa, MO) has a long and lean 5-11/160 build with lots of fast twitch muscles.  His swing is long and loose with plenty of bat speed and lift out front.

Dylan Cassidy (2025 1B, Lees Summit, MO) has lots of growing to do with his 5-11/125 frame but he has a very fluid and loose swing that consistently on time and laced some balls to both gaps.

 


Maroon vs White Game Highlights

Wyatt Vincent (2025 OF, Nixa, MO) Displayed quick hands through the zone with present bat speed. Tripled sharply to the left field corner in his first at bat of the game.

Oscar Diez (2026 C, Overland Park, KS) Showed a fluid, clean path to contact with a slightly lifted barrel plane through extension. Created good jump off the barrel when squared. Doubled in his first at-bat of the game.

Ethan Cole (2024 1B, Omaha, NE) The Nebraska native showed good arm whip through extension with good feel for the zone. Fastball created good downward depth with occasional heaviness, topped at 72 mph. Cole worked two hitless inning while striking out two batters.

Dylan Cassidy (2025 1B, Lees Summit, MO) Loose, clean arm action from a three-quarters slot. Fastball produced solid run to arm side with occasional sink to the bottom of the zone topping at 72 mph. Cassidy worked two scoreless innings.

Carter LaBrie (2025 RHP, Brandon, SD) Labrie showed a clean, repeatable delivery while utilizing a three-quarters arm slot. Created good downhill angle the plate working in the low to mid 70's. The South Dakota native work three scoreless innings striking out five batters.


Royal vs White Game Highlights

4/24/2021

Carson Bunda (2025 RHP, Pocahontas, IA) Displayed an easy, smooth delivery while on the mound. Consistently located to the bottom quadrants of the zone with a fastball that topped at 81 mph. Fastball flashed good run with occasional sink. Also created good depth with his breaking ball in the mid 60's. Bunda also showed good feel for the barrel while at the plate picking up sharp single in his first at bat.

Mason Kinchen (2025 LHP, Spring, TX) The Texas native utilized a compact delivery with a repeatable arm slot. Worked ahead in the count with a fastball that produced solid downhill tilt in the low to mid 70's, topped at 74 mph. Looked to keep hitters off balance with a breaking ball and changeup offering in the low 60's.

Wyatt Vincent (2025 OF, Nixa, MO) Impressed while on the mound showing an athletic delivery and quick arm action through extension. Fastball generated good run to arm side in the mid to upper 70's, topped at 79 mph. Effectively challenged hitters and induced weaker contact.


Maroon vs Royal Game Highlights

4/24/2021

Omar Avalos (2027 1B, Albers, IL) Displayed good feel for the barrel with the ability to repeat path and plane with ease. Collected two base hits in game action.

Cam Morris (2025 C, Leawood, KS) Showed present bat speed and threw the barrel head with intent. Hammered a loud double to the left field fence in his first at-bat of the game. 

Thomas   (TJ) Byrd (2026 RHP, Helotes, TX) Utilized a clean, line drive barrel plane through extension. Looked to employee a mid field approach and picked up two base hits.

Wesley Brown (2026 LHP, Kingsville, MO) The 2026 grad showed good arm speed while on the mound releasing from a three-quarters slot. Fastball displayed good jump through the zone topping at 78 mph. Also flashed solid feel for both his curveball and slider offerings in the low to mid 60's.
