Levi Allison (2021 C, Frisco, TX) flashed some excellent power potential in batting practice Sunday, showcasing good balance through extension and the ability to impact the ball with consistency. The junior from Texas swings with intent to drive the baseball.
Evan Appelwick (2021 SS, Madison, SD) showed impressive bat speed and put together an excellent round on Sunday. The Indiana commit showcases easy jump off the barrel with a direct path to contact and consistent, line-drive contact.
Troy Johnson (2021 SS, Corpus Christi, TX) put together an incredibly loud and consistent round on Sunday, driving balls the pull-side gap with incredible consistency. Johnson has a simple and repeatable operation at the plate that allows for hard contact with each swing.
Sean Kang (2023 C, Chesterfield, MO) uses a slightly lifted barrel plane to drive the ball in the air with some easy jump off the bat. Kang has relaxed hands, firing his hips well while executing a pull-side approach.
Jobe Smith (2023 SS, Park Hills, MO) flashed some serious bat speed in batting practice Sunday, staying short to the ball and driving it to all fields. Smith is strong at the point of contact and gets extended while staying nice and balanced through finish.
Avery Grant (2021 OF, Springfield, MO) was another bat to show some serious power potential on Sunday. The junior has a simple operation he repeats well and flashes some good jump to the pull-side.
Jack Matousek (2021 OF, Saint Louis, MO) showcased a middle of the field approach on Sunday, and his smooth left-handed stroke was easy and repeatable. The Saint Louis native flashes some thump off the barrel and showed good feel for the barrel throughout his round.
Reagan Andrew (2022, SS, Chesterfield, MO) has a simple approach from the right-side, using a linear barrel plane to create plenty of hard, line-driven contact through the middle of the field. Andrew has some strength in the frame and can execute a high-contact approach.
Zane Roos (2022 OF, St Louis, MO) put together a solid showing, showcasing a direct path to contact and some good barrel control. Just a sophomore, Roos swings with intent to drive the baseball and projects for more power as the frame continues to mature.
Kevin Krill (2021 C, White Lake, MI) makes consistent, hard contact through the middle of the field. Krill has a slightly lifted barrel plane, putting together a solid round that featured some hard-hit ball to the middle of the field.
Jonathan Tate (2021 1B, Benton, IL) showed some good jump off the barrel to the pull-side, using a strong frame to generate some barrel whip through the zone. Tate looks to lift to the pull-side and flashes big power when on time and squared.
Markell Dixon (2021 OF, Chesterfield, MO) put together a very loud round of batting practice Sunday, driving the ball through the middle of the field with consistency. Dixon swings with intent to drive the baseball and repeats the entire operation with ease.
Jack Huston (2021 OF, Marshall, MO) showed some good barrel whip through the zone, impacting the ball with ease and flashing developing feel for the barrel as well. Huston has quick hands to contact and executes a middle of the field to pull-side approach.
Andrew Loeffelman (2021 C, Saint Louis, MO) has a tall and even stance, showcasing some strength at contact and generating plenty of jump off the barrel when squared. Loeffelman has some raw power at the plate and will improve as he continues to add strength.
