Cole Russo (2021, Tampa, Fla.) has been a driving force in the success that the Hit Factory Pro team has seen to this point hitting out of the second spot in the order behind talented leadoff man Jonathan Vastine (2021, Bartow, Fla.).



Russo has made tremendous physical strides over the last year or so, firming up the build a good bit and adding a ton of strength and physicality throughout as a result. There is no doubting the bat speed and explosiveness that he shows at the dish, but it has been impressive to watch the consistency of the hit tool grow. Overall, the tools at peak will no doubt be loud and the athleticism within the profile of a lefthanded hit tool/power combo makes a strong candidate for some helium over the next 10 months in the important part of the prep draft cycle.
