Brett Chaney is a 2023 C/OF with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Lawrenceville, GA who attends Dacula. Medium frame with some physicality to the build. Ran a 7.47 second 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, even narrow start and slightly higher in stance, extremely quick release and replaces his feet well, good pops to the bag and stays through his throws well. Plays some outfield too, short and simple actions, showed some arm strength up to 82 to bags. Right-handed hitter, big intent in a quick and compact stroke, slightly stiff and struggles some but has plenty of strength in the hands, can lift it some out front, interesting strength to project on there.
