Andrew Lamarca is a 2027 OF/RHP with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Manhasset, NY who attends Manhasset Secondary. Long, lanky frame with a high waist and plenty of room to physically mature. Recorded a 7.35 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary outfielder with anticipatory actions into the fielding process. Fields properly off his front foot with deliberate pace and developing glove actions. Transitions fairly well into release and produced accurate throws up to 73 mph during drills. Secondary right-handed pitcher that works from a deliberate full windup delivery. Fastball worked in the upper-60s for the duration of his outing and topped out at 69 mph from an over-the-top arm slot. Mixed in slower, big breaking curveball as go-to secondary offering; maintained good posture and worked on top of the pitch. Strike thrower with physical upside. Left-handed hitter that hits from a narrow, slightly open stance with tight hand set, high back elbow and hover trigger. Contact oriented stroke with developing bat-to-ball skills. Whole field approach due to elongated swing path. Will continue to improve with proper swing adjustments and additional strength.
