Matthew Packwood is a 2022 RHP/OF with a 5-8 150 lb. frame from Corona, CA who attends Santiago. Small frame. Has a short compact arm action, hides the ball well and throws strikes. Uses his lower half well, maintained velo throughout 3 innings and had good energy on the mound. The fastball has a tendency to cut, topping out at 79 MPH. Flashed a curveball that has slight 12-6 spin and shape. Excellent student.
