Charles Freeman is a 2028 C/2B, OF with a 5-0 90 lb. frame from Valdosta, GA who attends Valwood. Recorded a 9.19 second 60-yard dash time. Primary catcher with a young frame and developing build. Fundamental receiving skills with a narrow base and ability to pocket the ball. Higher stance on throws from a staggered feet setup working through the pitch with a clean exchange. Developing arm strength on accurate throws around the bag while gaining ground and a high slot release. Solid athleticism for his age and size that transfer to the infield as a secondary second baseman. Hands work with lateral mobility to both sides and online throws across the diamond. Right-handed hitter with a wider base and bat on back shoulder setup in the box. Inward toe-tap trigger stride with hands separating into slot. Good rhythm and timing in the swing with ability to find the barrel. Increased impact to all fields as he gains size and strength with maturity. Excellent student with a 3.5 GPA.
