2021 13U/14U Summer Gulf Coast Showcase
Kemper Williams is a 2024 SS/RHP/OF with a 5-10 140 lb. frame from Neely, MS who attends Greene County. Medium athletic build with lots of physical projectability. Runs well, 7.09 in the sixty, quick twitch athlete who projects to have plus speed when he's more mature physically. Showed good clean hands on defense in the middle infield, good lower half actions through the ball, comfortable working to and through the ball, high release on his throws with good carry. Also showed good athletic tools and arm strength in the outfield. Right handed hitter, hits from a narrow open stance with a deep hand load, simple and well timed shift into contact, has quick hands and good present bat speed, barreled up in the games and showed good power potential with a pull to mid field contact, will keep improving as a hitter with additional strength. Also pitched, high flexible leg raise delivery, has some energy in his mechanics and body will get too fast at times. Fastball topped out at 78 mph and was in the zone when he stayed slow and under control. Showed some sharpness to his curveball and stayed on top of it well at release. Excellent student. Named to the 13U/14U Summer Gulf Coast Showcase Top Prospect List.
