Dylan Christie is a 2024 C/RHP, 3B, SS with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Simpsonville, SC who attends Mauldin. Recorded a 8.18 second sixty-yard dash time. Medium, lean frame with plenty of room to fill out. Primary catcher that receives from a slightly side-saddle stance with segmented and deliberate footwork out of the crouch. Works uphill into release and uses a high three-quarters arm slot to throw. Gains ground uphill towards his target and recorded developing arm strength up to 64 mph in drills. Secondary right-handed pitcher with slow, methodical movements into balance and down the slope. Fastball worked in the upper-60s for most of his outing, topping out at 70 mph from an over-the-top arm slot. Mixed in a slower breaking ball that varied in shape and showed gradual depth. Will continue to improve with refinements to his delivery and additional velocity. Right-handed hitter that hits from an even stance with a short inward stride into contact. Displayed a line drive plane to his swing, using the the whole field well to spray the ball throughout. Slightly elongated swing path with developing bat speed, will continue to improve with additional strength and refinement of his skill set. Excellent Student.
