Bryce Kolb is a 2025 C/RHP/1B with a 6-1 200 lb. frame from Willow Park, TX who attends Aledo. Kolb provided value at a range of defensive positions, starting from his primary spot behind the dish where he received well with some bounce out of the set posting a 2.13 pop time. He has further room to gain ground in the footwork and decrease the pop time. On the mound, the RHP displayed a compact hand set that hid the ball effectively throughout the operation releasing from a 3/4 slot and flashing a FB heavy arsenal. He successfully kept the front side closed and generated some swing and miss, topping out at 76 mph. Strength in he frame translated in both the OF and IF where Kolb produced max effort. throws on target again up to 76 mph. Offensively, the righty started from a slightly open stance with a big stride into weight shift, generating line drive contact back up the middle. Strength in the hands is present with room to refine the barrel control. Posted an exit velo of 79 mph. Ran a 7.77 sixty yard dash. Good student.
